The future belongs to every family.

Welcome.

We're glad you're here. We know the world of financial planning feels intimidating but we're here to break down the idea that investing is only for people who already have wealth and want to preserve it. Every family deserves the peace of mind that comes with planning for the future. We'd like to get to know you and learn about your financial goals and challenges - whatever they may be.

Planning for Retirement

Age 65 is no longer the finish line it once was. Instead of planning for a time when you're no longer working, we'll help you consider all the possible life events that occur as we age and help you feel prepared for any eventuality.

Saving for Education

You've got questions about how much to put away for education and how to save towards multiple goals at once; we can help.

Buying a Home

Buying a home may be the largest purchase you'll ever make. Whether this is a long term goal, or something you're hoping to accomplish this year, we can help you see where homeownership fits into your big picture.

We are deeply rooted in the Southwest and shaped by New Mexico.

Humble. Hard-working. Full of character. When you describe New Mexico, you describe the values and the people who have shaped who we are today. Whether you meet with our team in our Rio Rancho office or virtually, our goal is for you to feel as comfortable as you would sitting around the kitchen table. There's never any lectures or admonishment, just down-to-earth conversations that center on your needs and aspirations.

I believe that every family deserves the peace of mind that comes with planning for the future and that listening is the first step to building a successful, long-term relationship.  At Webb Financial Advisors, we use time-tested, researched-based strategies to help you build an investment portfolio tailored to your personal goals and risk tolerance. Our welcoming, straight talk approach to investing helps you take advantage of your most important asset: time.

I began my career in financial services in 2011 after graduating from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Business Administration and Finance. I hold Series 6, 63, 65 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA). Born and raised in New Mexico, I live with my wife Peggy and our four young children in Rio Rancho.

I enjoy exploring New Mexico’s natural beauty, camping and fishing with my family, starting (and eventually finishing) woodworking projects, and playing golf.

What’s the first thing you remember saving for?
When I was 9 years old, my older brother said he would sell me his go-cart for $400. It took me 12 months of yard work, along with some help from my parents, to put the money together. The go-cart experienced an inglorious demise shortly after I took possession.

What’s one thing you will always splurge on?
A wise man once said that you should never skimp on comfortable clothing and shoes, a mattress, or toilet paper.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received about investing?
Invest only in what you understand. It’s tempting to chase the fads - from Beanie Babies to NFTs - but I’ll stick with the very unglamorous work of building well-balanced portfolios built to weather the market long term.

What’s your best advice for saving money?
When you start earning more money, don’t fall victim to lifestyle inflation. Supersizing your creature comforts may feel good in the moment, but the thrill of this “empty calorie” spending fades quickly. You’ll derive exponentially more enjoyment from reaching clearly visualized financial goals that are meaningful for you.

What We Do & How We Do It

Every client will take a different journey, but the hallmarks of our process remain consistent.

We believe in building portfolios that match your specific risk tolerance. Once risk tolerance is identified we will implement time-tested, research-based strategies that are tailored to your investment personality. It is important to regularly review asset allocation and risk tolerance to determine how your portfolio is serving your goals.

A successful portfolio includes:

  • Broadly diversified asset classes
  • Low cost, flexible investments
  • Routine rebalancing
  • Regular, customized performance reporting

No matter what stage of life you are in, we all have asked the question: Will I have enough when it comes to retirement? With careful planning, you can achieve the lifestyle you want in retirement.

When planning for retirement, we will:

  • Create your vision of the ideal retirement
  • Set achievable goals
  • Open appropriate accounts
  • Implement customized investment strategy
  • Track progress by regularly meeting together

Our most valuable asset is time. By taking advantage of the time we have, we will explore all aspects of your financial life and build a plan around all the things you care about most. This will allow you to focus your time on what truly matters to you.
